Welcome in our InteractionSeeds repository. We aim at facilitating knowledge valorisation by testing, sharing and promoting good practices. This repository gathers examples of artistic and cultural interactions (the so called "Interaction Seeds") that have demonstrated positive effects to co-create solutions or communicate Science to citizens, and that are easily replicable.

About the repository

InteractionSeeds motivations are to humanize technology, take science out of the lab, encourage critical thinking, challenge technology, and explore new path to progress.
For this, artistic and cultural organizations have a unique set of skills. Arts-based methods creates conditions for knowing, experiencing and strengthening relationships with the world through signs, forms, actions and objects.
 
Applied to research, the goal is to imagine solutions for a better and more sustainable, inclusive and beautiful future.
 
By the implementation of InteractionSeeds, we mean the implementation of artistic or cultural interactions.
These interactions are defined as an activity that takes the form of an artwork, such as:

JetClay is an open-source Platform that explores the world of 3D printing and ceramics, relating the digital and the analogue, tradition and technology, makers and ceramists.

MAKER GUNEA, within Konekta, aims to be an opportunity for the creation of groups and communities related to projects that combine research, art, development, innovation, curiosity, leisure, technological vocations, social commitment, entrepreneurship and initiative.

KONEKTA aims to act as a citizen laboratory for social and creative innovation and emerging technologies, aimed at promoting creativity, initiative, participation and social commitment, critical thinking, collaborative work and personal and community empowerment among young people. KONEKTA is a programme that offers a new range of services and activities aimed primarily at adolescents and young people (12 to 30 years old).

The mission of The Posidonia Project is to leverage the influential reach of the music industry to drive positive change for the ocean. Originating in Ibiza, this initiative aims to mobilize the artistic community to advocate for the sustainability of vital marine habitats through a collaborative approach bringing together artists, scientific experts and creative minds.
