Art and Science Community is inspiring

Inspiration, exchange and dissemination. When science and art set a common goal, it usually activates a community that can achieve a lot. This is also the case at the annual Ars Electronica. Under the motto ‘Hope – who will turn the tide’, the focus is on initiatives that address social challenges and their impact on humanity. InteractionSeeds member Sandra Barrio visited this year’s Ars Electronica Festival in Linz and returned home to the Spanish Basque Country with lasting impressions. She has now taken another look at all the initiatives and activities for us and published the most inspiring and important ones here as a reading recommendation.

How can cities and metropolitan areas meet the challenges of achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement while also dealing with problems such as rising temperatures and lower water availability, yet constantly growing and expanding?
